Honorary membership at Sakura Dojo
Individuals who have rendered outstanding services to Sakura Dojo can be appointed honorary members by the head of Sakura Dojo, Karlheinz Bergers.
Honorary membership can furthermore be awarded to individuals as special honor for their exemplary behaviour or conduct, their special attachment to Budō, or their social or political commitment.
This is regardless of whether the individual is an active budōka, practises another sport, or is to be honored as an outstanding personality.
Holders of Dan ranks of Sakura Dojo can suggest candidates who fulfill these criteria. The final decision regarding honorary membership lies with Karlheinz Bergers.
The honorary member is exempt from payment of contributions and any other obligations.
Honorary members are invited as guests to events and training courses of Sakura Dojo.
